COVID-19 Update

Latest Update

Narvida updates on the start back to work after Easter on Tuesday 14 April and to do this safely following the Government’s latest outlines on health and social distance.

We note the current Government outlines are:

All retail hospitality and leisure businesses should remain closed.

Other business should continue work by safe means with social distance procedures at work.

That it is ‘important for business to carry on’ and from the HSE ‘keep your business open’ and do so by taking note on health and social distance.

In terms of the Narvida customer base, we have category 1 key businesses requesting works, as well as category 2 & 3 businesses requesting works. The Government outlines that it is important for all these businesses to carry on – aside from the specific business areas noted in retail hospitality and leisure – to keep the various links of industry working together by adopting safe social distance at work.

We shall continue to work from home where possible and we shall stagger team working times and rotate working times, to reduce the number of personnel at work at any one time, following national and international health guidance to focus on social distance day to day.

We will support the pressing needs for key supply chain works, and we continue to support key customer sites. We operate and support many markets, linked to all categories of businesses, including the following examples:

Energy.

Foods.
Drinks.
Medicals via sanitary hand cleaners, including rapid diversification into this area by some of our key customers.
Paper for pharmacies and related supplies.
Agriculture and our links to farming in the food industries.
Et in all businesses that require specialist custom built steel fabrication products and services across our countries and industries.

Community

We would like to thank our customers, our suppliers and all our community stake holder connections that we work with year on year, for their understanding and patience at this time, in the face of this world wide crisis.

We are currently operating on a streamlined basis, with only one company representative at the Dalgety Bay base to receive key deliveries. We shall reopen with reduced personnel in place, as we rotate working times, from Tuesday 14 April.

Please contact us via your normal local contact or via info@narvida.co.uk.

In particular, our thoughts and support is with the National Health Service at this time. Our best wishes to all our communities that we share and work with, as we move through these challenges.

Keep safe Keep clean Keep well

Best wishes
